Sending Warm Holiday Wishes and Links to Enjoy

Happy Holidays

As holiday festivities get under way for many people around the world, I’d like to take a few moments to send warm wishes to all of my readers.  I just returned from five days in the Lake Tahoe area with part of my family and will be spending tonight and tomorrow with my husband’s family here in San Diego.  I thought I’d have time to write more today, but as is often the case around the holidays, the days and hours speed by and we wonder where the time went!

Christmas Wishes and Gratitude

I’ll be back later in the week with a standard post, but for now I’d like to wish a Merry Christmas to all those who celebrate.   Thank you all for reading my blog and being a part of my life during 2013.  It’s been a blessing for me to have my words read by so many wonderful people around the world and I am truly grateful for each and every one of you.

Some Holiday-Themed Links to Share

If you have time for a breather amidst the holiday festivities, you may want to check out the following holiday-themed posts.  I enjoyed and learned from the sentiments expressed by my fellow bloggers and I think many of you will benefit from their words as well.

From My Family to Yours…

I’ll leave you with the photo from the holiday card my husband and I mailed to our friends and family this year (click for a larger view).  The photo was taken this past January on Catalina Island (where we were married, also featured in this post – a favorite of mine…).

  1. Your getaway sounds lovely and you look radiant in your christmas card! Enjoy the holidays and thanks so much for all of your fantastic posts this year!

  2. Merry Christmas Debbie! You and Mike look so happy in your card. I hope you enjoy your holiday together with family. I’ve so enjoyed all your thoughtful posts this year and am looking forward to more in 2014.

  3. Happy Holidays, Debbie! It sounds like you are having a great time! Looking forward to what new things 2014 brings!

  4. Debbie. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

I found your site this year after learning that I had a shopping problem. Just being able to name it and read similar stories has helped me make huge changes. I used to think I had problems with organisation, wardrobe management, my image etc and was shopping to “fix up” everything I wasn’t doing right or wasn’t right about me.

So thanks for your posts and Best Wishes for 2014 from a fellow “Recovering Shopaholic.”

  5. Thanks so much to all of you for your kind comments and wishes! I’m so glad you’re all here and I’m happy you have been enjoying my posts.

The photo on the card is from January 2013. Mike and I always enjoy our times in Catalina, as that’s where we got married! We hope to visit there again very soon, but in the meantime we’re enjoying lots of walks and other fun times here in San Diego.

I hope you’re all enjoying the holidays. Happy New Year and best wishes for 2014!
